We are now looking for an operations technician who wants to be part of ensuring the service level and atmosphere required to operate a top-class airport!

You will belong to the Landside Field Operations department, which performs the minute operational services to make the business work for Swedavia's customers. This includes travelers, staff, and tenants, where the traveler is our primary customer. The work will be conducted during daytime hours.

What does the role entail?

Landside Field Operations is responsible for snow removal, park/garden maintenance, and cleanliness of the airport's areas outside the airport's restricted zone. In your role as an operations technician in the park and garden group, you will work with the care and maintenance of our park facilities, primarily weeding, lawn mowing, plant care, and pruning, among other tasks. Cleanliness, supervision, and corrective maintenance on roads, walkways, sidewalks, and parking areas will also be part of your duties. In winter, snow removal and ice control will be the focus.

The unit's work is an important part of how the airport is perceived since the external areas are the first thing customers encounter at the airport.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has gardening education or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer

• Has very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you:

• Have a C driver's license or good experience driving a wheel loader

• Have knowledge or previous work experience in snow removal, maintenance work, and/or park work

• Have worked at an airport

• Have training in pruning or chainsaw/brush cutter
